Web5 mrt. 2013 · Way back when I purchased a pair of Infinity RS-4B speakers. I enjoyed them over the years but the foam surrounds on the woofer gave way and I replaced them. Later one woofer started to have a rubbing issue so I replaced that unit with a Peerless woofer in each side. The original 8" woofers are 4 ohms impedance and they are connected in series. Although the sound quality is much better with the A-S3000! Damping factor may play a large role there as the A-1000 was 90 and the A-S3000 is 250.
